How could impose sanctions on Syria without asking us? Russia.
Mr Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister says that, approval from Russia, China, as well as from the BRICS countries should be obtained before imposing sanctions on Syria. He also says that, Russia will not agree on any unilateral sanctions imposed on Syria by the Western countries.
According to the human rights organizations, in addition to imposing economic sanctions against Syria, the Western countries are attempting to adopt various proposals against Syria, in the United Nations Organization. They further indicate that, the western countries are trying to oust the Bashar Al Assad administration, similarly to Libya and Egypt.
Meanwhile, it was revealed during a referendum conducted by an organization called Qatar Foundation that 53% of the  Syrian people are against a foreign intervention to solve the country’s conflict.
