Police raids former French President Sarcozy’s residence.
According to the foreign media reports, a special police team has raided Former French President Nicolos Sarcozy’s residence.
These reports further indicates that, this raid was launched to investigate an allegation of bribery made against him.
He was pressed charges for not submitting correct budget reports regarding the huge amount of money donated by a billionaire called Mrs Bettencourt, for his election campaign in 2007.
 
The Ex President’s Financial Officer, also was asked to pay compensations in this regards.
As 50,000 Euros Mr Sarcozy received as donations, is well beyond the legal limit 4,600 Euros for donations, it also caused this action is being taken, sources say.
