U.S.A. annoyed requests Navi Pillay to resign
According to the Innercity Press website, the 2nd four year term of the U.N. Human Rights Commissioner Mrs Navaneethan Pillay,was reduced to two years.
This website also says that, following the requests made by certain countries including the United States of America, Mr Ban Ki Moon, the U.N.Secretary General has informed Mrs Pillay to resign from her post.
Mrs Pillay, a South African Born Indian Tamil, hasn’t agreed to this proposal. Later she was appointed for the post for only two years according to an agreement reached with the interference of South Africa.
Earlier, the United Nations has proposed a post of  U.N. Assistant State Secretary for South Africa to her, after she has turned down the request to resign from her post, made by Mr Ban Ki Moon.
Foreign media emphasize that, U.S.A. is angry with Mrs Navi Pillay, as the U.N. Human Rights Commissioner’s office has severely criticized Israel.
