Plot thickened but Channel 4 gained nothing other than disgust; Sri Lankan Expatriates

The infamous channel 4 with a wasted interest made another futile attempt to night to revamp its failed previous attempt with its fake video footings to re fuel the hatred among Tamil speaking Sri Lankans who were recovering from a 30 years of brutal terrorism by the LTTE.
Throughout the disgusting program which violated all possible media ethics went on to re traumatize all those who had been traumatized directly or indirectly for the last 30 years. While claiming for standing for human rights, what all those who collaborated to this program did nothing but to violate the human rights of the majority of Sri Lankans irrespective of the language they speak.
The Chanel 4 ironically started the programme by referring to ‘a nation that is recovering from trauma’ and also by mentioning about semi finals of the 50 over ICC cricket, and appeared to be very envious about the excellent recovery the nation has made.
A quick survey conducted following the telecast suggest that some Sri Lankans refused to watch the program as they did not wish to see stirring the old wounds and the majority of those who watched feels very angry and disgusted about the unprofessional conduct of the channel four. They also feels that the channel 4 has completly failed to appriciated the gains of the cessation of war.
They also in spite of their claimed ‘ expertise’ got it very wrong by referring to defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse as the Minister of Defense.
