Berty to the Parliament. S.M.’s minister post to Berty?

A proposal has been submitted to appoint Mr Berty Premalal Dissanayaka,the Former Chief Minister to the Parliament, from the national list as a solution to the crisis situation erupted while appointing a Chief Minister for the North Central Province.

According to the reports, the government has paid it’s attention to grant a minister post to Mr Dissanayake.

Accordingly, a parliamentarian, who was appointed by the National List, is due to resign from his post allowing Mr Berty Premalal Dissanayake, to be appointed as a parliamentarian, while preparations are being made to grant the Agrarian and Wild Life minister post to Mr Dissanayake, which was vacated by the resignation of Minister S.M.Chandrasena.

However, Mr Dissanayake says that, he doesn’t need any other post other than the Chief Ministership of the North Central Provincial Council.The final discussions in this regards will be held on today.
