Bodu Bala Sena and Sinhala Ravaya organisations to be abolished-Dinesh

Bodu Bala Sena and Sinhala Ravaya organisations should be abolished is what Minister Dinesh Gunawardena had disclosed in a cabinet meeting as they could provoke  the different communities who hitherto had lived in harmony it is reported.

At the same time he had suggested that the two organisations had united together as ‘Bodu Samaluwa’ and they are to organise a rally in Maharagama on Sunday. It is the view of the Minister that there is bound to create some havoc during this gathering.

However Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka had disagreed with the proposal of Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, it is learnt that President Mahinda Rajapaksa too had disagreed to his proposal
