Consumer Affairs Authority to sue Cement Corporation.
According to the reports, the consumer Affairs Authority is preparing to take court action against the Cement Corporation for repacking and selling of the out-of-date cement in new bags.
After the revelation of the above incident, which was carried out in a Cement Corporation warehouse, the Consumer Affairs Authority who have launched investigations have obtained statements from certain individuals including high ranking officials of the Cement Corporation.
Theses measures are being taken on the instructions of Minister Johnston Fernando.
