33 Students who have sat for the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination under the old syllabubs last year, have filed a petition before the Supreme Court, requesting to issue an interim order to abolish the new results and the Z-Scores released after the Supreme Court order, for the students who have sat for the G.C.E. (Advanced Level)Examination in 2011,and to ban all future activities in that regards including the enrollments at the Universities.
These petitioners have mentioned that, due to the revised results and the Z-Scores of the above,they have suffered a severe injustice, while their fundamental rights have been violated.
The Commissioner of Examinations, University Grants Commission, Attorney General, Ministers Bandula Gunawardena, and S.B.Dissanayake, have been named as the respondents in the petition.
