Disciplinary inquiries commenced on Mervyn.
The Disciplinary Committee of Sri Lanka Freedom Party has decided to launch investigations regarding the complaints submitted to the police and the Bribery Commission, against Mr Mervyn Silva,Minister of Public Relations, and Public Affairs.
According to the reports,businessmen,as well as the Members including the Chairman of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Saba, have made complaints against the Minister to the police, and the Bribery Commission. The Bribery Commission and the police have initiated separate investigations regarding these complaints.
Since, the copies of these complaints were received by the S.L.F.P. Headquarters,inquiries are being conducted with the supervision of Mr Maithripala Sirisena, the General Secretary of the party, sources say.
