Do not need fuel subsidies; we’ll increase the fare.
The All Ceylon Three Wheeler Drivers and Owners Association say that, they do not need the fuel subsidy which is supposed to be provided by the government, but will be increasing the fare by 5% in lieu of that.
According to them,it is not practical to use  same methodology for fixing meters to three wheelers in differnt areas. They also say that, their Association will agree if a commission is appointed to regulate the three wheelers and fix the meters afterwards.
