According to the reports, Members of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Saba will handover the documents which substantiate the charges pressed against Mr Mervyn Silva, the Minister of Public Relations and Public Affairs, to the Disciplinary Committee of the Sri Lanka freedom Party today.
Since all 16 members of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Saba are due to participate in this occasion,30 files of documents against Mr Mervyn Silva were handed over to this committee on previous occasions.
Accordingly, the Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party is due to be made aware regarding the explanations from both parties, the recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee also will be submitted to the Central Committee, party sources say.
