Ex Army Chiefs from U.N.P. for Chief Minister posts.
The United National Party says that,the party has paid it’s attention  on nominating Former Army Chiefs to contest for the Chief Minister posts during the coming Provincial Council Elections.
Mr Tissa Attanayaka, the General Secretary of the party says that, the final decision in that regards will be taken in the Working Committee meeting of the party, which will be held on the 5th of July.During this meeting discussions also will be held to decide whether to contest this election in alliance or alone.
In addition to this, certain experts in various fields have expressed their willingness to contest under the United National Party, he added.
