The Supreme Court has decided that,Mr Sarath Fonseka should be allowed to continue receiving treatments at Colombo Navaloka Hospital, until Dr Vajira Tennakoon, his Specialist Physician, decide that, Mr Fonseka is totally cured. On 4th of May, the Colombo High Court has ordered to transfer Mr Sarath Fonseka,who is receiving treatments for a lung disease at Colombo Navaloka Hospital,to Colombo National Hospital. Making submissions to the five member Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice Mrs Shirani Bandaranayake,the attorney of the Former Army Commander has said that,Mr Fonseka could not continue treatments from Dr Vajira Tennakoon,at the Colombo National Hospital. Issuing this verdict, The Chief Justice has mentioned that, this decision was taken by the Supreme Court,as Mr Fonseka’s power of justice is totally focused at the Supreme Court, since he has submitted an appeal against the verdict of imprisonment for the ‘White Flag’ case.
