Houses from China to the Armed forces in the North. T.N.A. Protests.
The Tamil National Alliance has stated that, the constructions of the houses for the Sri Lankan armed forces in the North with the Chinese aids are being conducted without a parliamentary  approval.
The Chinese government has provided financial aids worth more than Rs 13.2 Billion for the houses of the Sri Lankan armed Forces, while, the Chinese Defence Minister Mr Liang Guanglie,is due to arrive on a 5 day official visit to Sri Lanka,on Wednesday. The government has earlier emphasized that,it’s intention is to provide the ground facilities, and houses for the soldiers who are serving in the camps of the North, including Mannar, Palali, Elephant Pass, Poonarine, Thaladi, Karainagar, and Mullatiuve, which are being established from along time.
Mr suresh Premachandran, the T.N.A. parliamentarian alleges the government that, instead of resettling the refugees,  in their villages, the government has taken steps to militarize the North.
The parliamentarian also says that, the T.N.A. has informed the Indian government to be on the alert of this situation.
“My party protested against it,soon after the Chinese government has decided to provide Rs 100 Million for the above project”, he says.
“It’s a threat to the Tamil People as well as to India, as the Sri Lankan government is trying to increase the strength of it’s armed forces in the North”, he emphasizes.
He further says that, his party will demand a parliamentary debate while the international community will be made aware of the situation.
