Mr Sarath Fonseka says that, he will put a stop to all corruptions if he come into power. He has expressed these views when he was brought to a private hospital in Colombo, for Physiotherapy treatments.
Expressing his views to the media, Mr Sarath Fonseka has said that,;
‘Mr Maithripala Sirisena, a Minister of this government has said that, all government politicians are accepting ransoms. How could the people like those develop a country? When we come into power, we put a stop to all those corruptions. Jayaweva’

It is reported that during a meeting of the UNP a tense situation had arisen with the chasing away of organizer for Avissawela, Upul Weerasinghe by the leader Ranil wickremasinghe.He had been suspended temporarily and in his place member of provincial council Leonard Karunaratna has been appointed.
