Mr Sanath Jayasooriya, veteran cricketer and parliamentarian,has faced an uneasy situation, when he hasn’t been paid his fare of 15,000 US Dollars and the traveling allowance for participating in a Cricket tournament held in Toronto, Canada. Cricketers of many countries around the world including Mr Sanath Jayasooriya have participated in this tournament which was organized to the promote the game of Cricket in Canada. When the Pakistani Cricketers who were due to participate in this tournament have failed to arrive at the last moment,the organizers have faced a financial crisis, and unable to pay money for the Cricketers including Sanath Jayasooriya,as the spectators have returned their tickets while the sponsors have withdrawn from the tournament
