Justices of the Peace who accept money will be removed.
The Ministry of Justice says that, steps will be taken to abolish the posts of Justices of the Peace, who accept money from the public who approach them to get their letters or documents certified.
According to the Ministry, information were received that, certain Justices of the Peace are accepting money from the public, who approach them to get affidavits and other documents certified.The Ministry further says that, if such activities were proven which bring disgrace on an honourable  post such as Justice of the Peace, their posts will be abolished with immediate effect.
The Ministry also indicates that, the Justices of the Peace have no right to accept or demand money from the public.
