Mannar oil could be sold; Cairns
Cairns India Company believes that, the oil escavation activities done in the Mannar Basin are almost successful,and oil could be obtained for the commercial purposes at least from one oil well out of the three wells which were escavated.
The company has earlier stated that,out of three oil wells, natural gases were found from two.
Mr Rahul Dhreer, Chief Executive Officer of Cairns India Company, says that, additional three dimensional geological data has been obtained on an area of 600 Kilometers in the Mannar Basin for the second stage of the research process.
Accordingly, Mr Dheer further says that,the Sri Lankan government was informed that, there is a commercial possibility in the experimental oil wells in Sr Lanka.
