Minister Siyambalapitiya is not involved in the theft at the Museum.
Mr Ajith Rohana, the Police Media Spokesman says that,Mr Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology is not involved in the theft of priceless treasures and artifacts from the National Museum.
He has said these, referring to a column article published on a weekend newspaper saying that, Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya is involved in this theft.
The Police Media Spokesman further says that, no information was revealed  yet by the investigations conducted up to now, regarding the relevant theft. He also says that, according to the investigations launched up to now, Mr Ranjith Siyambalapitiya is not involved in this theft.
