National Anthem of Sri Lanka sung in Tamil Language.
During a ceremony organized by the Embassy of Netherlands,in a five star hotel,to mark Independence Day of Netherlands,the National Anthem of Sri Lanka was sung in Tamil Language, violating the constitution of Sri Lanka.
During this occasion, the National Anthem of Sri Lanka, firstly sung in Sinhala Language,and secondly in Tamil Language.Even though several powerful ministers were participating in this occasion,no one has protested against it.
According to the 7th clause of the first chapter of the Constitution of Sri Lanka, the National anthem could be sung only in Sinhala Language.
