‘No Olympics for Sri Lanka’, death fast from Tamil Diaspora.
During the period of London Olympics,a person called Gobi Sivanathan,a member of the Tamil Diaspora  has started a  death fast regarding five demands including the capturing of the lands in the ‘Tamil Motherland’ by force.
The activists of the Tamil Diaspora who have participated in a remonstration at the Westham Park near Stafford, where this person is engaging in the ‘death fast’, have signed a petition demanding the Olympics Committee that the Sri Lankan athletes should be banned from participating in Olympics.
They also said that, the Sri Lankan government is trying to take the whole Tamil Community as prisoners, while, the Tamil people should have the sovereign right to select their own political leaders.They further say that,all L.T.T.E. war prisoners should be released unconditionally.
