Te Indian Parliamentary Delegation have emphasized the government that, 13th amendment with full powers should be activated to normalize the civil life in the North and East.They also have said that,unless prompting the Sri Lankan government to activate the mechanism to upgrade the civil life in the areas,India will not put pressure on the Sri Lankan government in that regards.The visit of the Indian Parliamentary Delegation lead by Mrs Sushma Swaraj commenced from the 16th of this month, will be concluded today.During this visit, certain civil organizations in the North have emphasized that,prior to activate the 13th amendment, some additional amendments should be included such as the powers of financial administration,and to establish direct rapports with foreign countries. They have further sad that,the army camps should be removed from the North and the construction of Buddhist temples should be stopped.
