The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom party, has decided to temporary suspend the posts and party memberships of the politicians, who have been arrested for rape and child abuse allegations, and later abolish the party memberships if they were found guilty of the charges.
During this Central Committee Meeting which was held in the afternoon yesterday,under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa,it was also decided only to activate the L.L.R.C. recommendations which coheres with the ‘Mahinda Chinthana’
