Ratwatte’s funeral held, with full state honours.
The funeral of General Anuruddha Ratwatte a close relative of the Former President Mrs Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaranathunga,a Minister and the Former Deputy Minister of Defence, was  held in Bogambara Stadium at 4PM today, with full state honours.
His remaineds at the Ratwatte ancestral home in Mahayaya,Kandy.After the religious proceedings his cortege left his residence where army personnel  tookeover the coffin in front the Queen’s Hotel, Kandy.
