Ravi for the post of National Organizer. Sajith’s protest ignored.

Reports from the United National Party say that, Mr Ravi Karunanayake, had been selected for the post of the National Organizer of the party, during the Advisory Board meeting held at ‘Sirikotha’, in the morning today. During the meeting Mr Ranil Wickramasinghe has stated that Mr Ravi Karunanayake should be selected for the post of National Organizer. Mr Sajith Premadasa who protested against it, has said that, if Mr Ravi Karunanayake is set in for the post,it should be done by an election. However at the end everybody has agreed to appoint Mr Ravi Karunanayake as the National Organizer.
Mr Ranil Wickramasinghe the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Karu Jayasooriya, Mr Sajith Premadasa, Mr Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, and Mr Senarath Kapucotuwa have participated in the Advisory Board meeting of the United National Party, which was held today.
Reports from the United National Party say that, Mr Ravi Karunanayake will be appointed as the National Organizer during the Working Committee meeting which is due to be commenced in the evening today.
