The National Transport Commission says that, severe legal actions will be taken against the buses which illegally transport the travellers on the Southern Expressway, without obtaining licences.
The Commission further says that, the Inspector General of Police was made aware of this situation, and was requested to take necessary actions to arrest the owners of these illegal buses, without considering their status.
                 
Only 6 C.T.B. buses and 4 private buses have been granted permission for the transportation of travellers on the Southern Expressway.
According to the reports, in addition to these, unauthorized private buses also being engaged in travellers transportation on the Expressway.
