ජනාධිපතිතුමන්ගේ ඉල්ලීම මත මෙනර නවත්වනු ලැබූ මුන්නේෂ්වරම් කෝවිලේ බිලි පූජාව ස්ථිරවම තහනම් කිරීමට අවශ්ය පනතක් ලබන වසරට පෙර ගෙන එන බව ජාතික හෙළ උරුමය පවසයි.
එම පක්ෂයේ සභාපති, පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී පූජ්ය අතුරලියේ රතන හිමියන් පවසන්නේ දෙවරත්ම දැඩි ආන්දෝලනයකට ලක් වූ මෙම බිලි පූජාව නැවැත්වීමට ලබන වසරේදීත් උද්ඝෝෂණ, මාධ්ය හමු පවත්වන්නට වුවහොත් එය වගකිව යුත්තන් තම යුතු කම පැහැර හැරීමක් බවයි.
මෙම බිළි පූජාව පිළිබඳ රටේ මේ වන විට මතයක් ගොඩ නැඟී ඇති බවත් ඉන්දියාවෙත් මේ වන විට බිලි පූජා තහනම් කර ඇති බැවිනුත් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ යලිත් මෙවැන්නකට ඉඩ නොතබන නීති රීති ගෙන ආ යුතු බවද උන් වහන්සේ වැඩි දුරටත් පෙන්වා දෙති.

ඕක නවත්වන්න පනතක් ගෙනල්ලා විතරක් මදි..බිලි පූජා ව මෙහෙයවන,ඒකට සහභාගී වන අයටත් එක්ක දැඩි ඳඬුවම් පැමිණිවිය හැකී නීතිත්යකුත් ගේන්න..බිලි පූජාව නවත්වනව කියල දෙමලු කෝවිල් වල කරන පුජාවල් විතරක් නවත්තන්න හදන්න එපා.තම්බියො කුරබාන් කියල කරන බිලි පූජාවත් නවත්වන්න පුලුවන් වෙන ආකාරයට පනත් නීති ගේන්න.කුරබාන් කියන්නෙත් බිලි පූජාවක්.

අන්ය ආගමිකරණ විරෝදී පනත ගෙනාවා වගේද හාමුදුරුවනේ? ආණ්ඩුවේ දෙසපාලුවන්ගේ කුඩු, හොරකම්, වල්කම්, චන්ඩිකම්, කප්පම් ගැනීම් එහෙම පෙන්නේ නැද්ද ඔබ වහන්සේට? ඔබ වහන්සේත් හොරු සමග හෙලුවෙන්ද?
උඹත් මේ රටේ නේද ඉන්නේ. මොනවා හරි කරපංකෝ. නිකම් මෙතන කෑ ගහන්නේ නැතිව. අඩුම තරමේ පාරට බැහැල කෑ ගහපිය.
සාදු සාදු බොහොම හොද දෙයක් .ඉක්මනටම ක්රියාත්මක කරන්න .පක්ෂ බේදයකින් තොරව පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ බහුතරයකින් සම්මත කරගම්මු .එකට විරුද්ද වෙන කට්ටියත් බලාගන්න පුළුවන් .
මචන්ලා මොකද බොරුව්ට කෑගහනවා…එහෙනම් ඔබලා මස් කන එක නවත්වන්න.පූජාවට විතරක් නොවේ….ඔබලාට කන්නත් සත්තු මරනව….බොරුව්ට කෑගහන්න එපා….මොලෙන් හිතන්න.පූජවට විරුද්ද ව කමෙන්ට්ස් දාන අය මස් නොකන අයද? ….
මෙතන ප්රශ්නෙ තියෙන්නෙ මස් කන එක නෙමෙයි, මිනිස්සු දෙය්යියන්ගෙ නම විකුනලා බ්ස්නස් කරන එක. ඔය කියන පුජවට පස්සෙ මස් කඩ කාරයන්ට ඔය හරක් එළුවො ටික විකුනනවා. හින්දු ආගමේ පුජනිය සත්වය තමයී ගවයා කියන්නෙ, මෙහෙමෙම ගවයො මරන්නෙ නැ අනිත් එක කාලි දෙවාලවලයකවත්. එකෙන් අපිට තෙරෙන්නෙ මෙක දෙවියන්ගෙ නම විකුනන බ්ස්නස් එකක් කියන එක විතරයි
ඒ කතාවට නම් මාත් එකගයි.. බෞද්ධ අපි මස් කන ඒක දැන් වත් නවත්තන්න ඕන… විශේෂයෙන් කුකුල් මස්…මොකද ගොඩක් දෙනෙක් දැන් හරක් මස් වලින් ඈත් වෙලා ඉන්නේ…අන්න ඒ දේ කුකුල් මස් වලටත් කරමු…

හොඳ දේට හොඳයි කියන්න ඕන.නමුත් ඕව පුස් ටෝක් විතරයි.කිසිම දෙයක් වෙන්නේ නැ.අර අන්ය ආගමික පනත වගේ.දෙයක් ප්රයෝගිකව වෙනවනම් අපි කැමතියි.මෙම ආගමික නාමයෙන් වෙන බිලි පූජා වහාම නතර විය යුතුයි.

විඤ්ඤුතය….ඉන්දියාවේ බිලිපූජා නෑවෑත්විමට නීති පෑණවීමට සිදුවී ඈත්තේ 1. එම රටේ ප්රධාන ජන කොඨ්ට්ටාශය නිර්මාන්ශීන් වන බෑවිනි….2. සිටිනා ජනගහණය අනුව වසරකට පවත්වන බිලීපූජා සදහා අවම මිලියන 400 පමණ සත්වයන් ගාතනය විය හෑකි නිසාත්… 3. බිලිපූජා සදහා සත්ව ගාතනය කිරීමෙන් ඔවුන් පත්නා විමුක්තිය, ආලෝකය ලබා ගෑනීමට නොහෑකි බව ගෑන දෑනුවත් කිරීමට පිරිසක් නොමෑති බෑවිනි.. ඔවුන් යථාර්තවාදිව ලෙස එම ප්රශ්ණය විසදා තිබෙනවා…
අප රටේ වන්නාවු මෙම සිදුවීම කෙදිනද බුදු දහම හසුරුවන්නන් සහ එහි අයිති කරුවන් යථාවාදීව බලා තිබෙන්නේ…ක්රියාව වෑරෑදි බව .පහෑදිලි කර තිබෙන්නේ? සෑම අවස්ථාවේදීම දේශපාලනය ගාවා ගෙන ඈත….එයින් සියල්ල ගද ගසයි..
අහෝ අතුරලියේ රතන හිමියනි….නීති දමා බලහත්කාරයෙන් කුමටද වයිරය අනෙකා තුල අවුළුවන්නේ.. ඔය බිලි පූජා පවත්වන්නෙ ඔවුන් දන්නා ආකාරයට හෝ ඔවුන්ගේ පරම්පරාවන් විසින් කරනා ලද ආකාරයට ඔවුන් විශ්වාස කරනා දෙවියන්ගෙන් පිහිට පෑතීමයි..එය අප විසින් බෝධි පූජා….පහන් පූජා…පිලිම පූජා වෑනි දහසකුත් එකක් පූජා වෑනිය..පෑන ඈසීමා…අන්ජනම් එලි යෑවීම..බලි තොවිල්..පෙරේත තටු….එවෑනි දෑ පරම්පරාවන් තුලින් තුබූ විශ්වාසය මත ඉදිරියට පෑමිණි ඒවා වේ.
කලයුත්තේ…ලබන අවුරුද්දේ සෑප්තෑම්බර් මාසය වනවිට ඔවුන් හට බුදු දහම දේශනා කර අවභෝධ කර දීමයි ඔවුන් කරන්නේ වෑරෑද්දක් බවත් බුදු දහම තුල ඔවුන්ගේ ප්රශ්න සදහා පිලිතුරු තිබෙනා බවත් මිස බොරුවට දේශපාලනයට උඩගෙඩී දීම නොවේ.ඔවෑනි ලාමක හෑසීරීම් තුලින් බුදු දහම විහිලුවකට ලක් කිරීමෙන් වලකින්න..ඔය ප්රශ්නයට පිලිතුර බුදු දහමේ නොමෑති ද..? ඔබ සියල්ල නීති පනවා දහම් ප්රචාරය කරනවා කියන්නේ බුදුන් ගෑන් තිබෙනා විශ්වාසය නොමෑති බවයි…..එසේනම් භික්ශුවගේ කාර්ය දෙශපාලනය තුලින් මාර්ග පල අත් කර දීමද…?

why have brought Christianity into the issue concern….you have lost the point discussed…IF you and I do not know if any action is right or wrong someone must teach us..otherwise we will continue to do what only we know…because of the education ..we must be in a position to rationalize than to find comfort in extremes…
The Bhikku should address these people who offer these sacrifices through what Lord Buddha has taught…not through political means… Tell me what is wrong in Bhikku visiting these poor neglected people and teach them what is the right action..? When one engages politics that need answers through Dhamma….it reflects that the yellow robed are spineless inspire of being the followers of Lord Buddha… and the intention of the yellow robed is to popularize the present stinking political culture…
Followers of the Buddha do not belong to political parties …..but they belong to the Buddha and Dhamma…this is the problem in the country today …the yellow robed have got involved in party politics than their Teachers Teachings…

The great epic poem called the Ramayana (“Life of Rama”) is usually considered mythology, which is not precisely fiction, because myths impart the traditional history and beliefs of a people and have their own kind of reality–mythic reality. In popular speech, “myth” means something that is fictional or not true. But students and scholars of mythology take myths more seriously, as traditional stories that contain valuable teachings and history of a culture. Thus, scholars do not say that myths are false but instead look to them for the spiritual truths that they contain.
Because the Ramayana has fantastic characters such as demons and gods and a flying monkey hero (Hanuman), it seems to be fiction or fantasy. But Rama could have been a real person. Scholars say that great heroes of ancient times often become deified, which means that over time, literature portrays them as gods. Rama is believed to have lived more than 7000 years before the Christian era (BCE). It is unlikely that there could be any proof of his actual life. We might suppose that over the ages, stories about him were passed down, and these stories became embellished with symbolism and fiction-like elements. So although the Ramayana might be called fiction, those who revere Lord Rama believe that it expresses truth in a way that mere history cannot do. Even Hanuman, the “monkey god” who represents the ideal of devoted service to his master (Rama), could have been a real person, perhaps a member of a tribal people, who was transformed into a divine monkey in the telling of the tale.
The Vedic scriptures of the Hindu religion refer to the sun as the store house of inexhaustible power and radiance. Ths sun god is referred to as Surya or Aditya. The Vedas are full of hymns describing the celestial body as the source and sustainer of all life on earth. The origin of the worship of the Sun in India is thus several centuries old.
References to sun worship are found in the puranas. The Ramayana speaks of Sage Agastya initiating Rama into sun worship through the Aditya Hridaya Mantra. The astronomer and astrologer Varahamirhira makes references to the intricacies of ceremonies connected with the installation of the icon of the Sun. It is also said that Iran was once a center of Solar worship and that some of the Magha priests of Iran had been brought to India to officiate in ceremonies.
There are several temples enshrining the Sun God as the principal deity. Several temples dedicated to Shiva, feature a small shrine for Surya the Sun God. In addition, it is believed that Surya, the Sun God has offered worship at several of the shrines in Tamilnadu; many of these shrines have been designed in such a way that the sun’s rays illuminate the sanctum (of Shiva) on certain days of the year. Several of the South Indian Temple Tanks also bear the name Surya Theertham or Surya Pushkarini.
