ඇති වී තිබෙන තත්ත්වය මත ශ්රී ලංකන් ගුවන් සේවයේ සේවකයන් 1500ක පමණ පිරිසක් ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන් විශ්රාම ගැන්වීමේ අවස්ථාව සැලසීමට එහි පාලනාධිකාරිය කටයුතු කර ඇත.
මේ වන විට ශ්රී ලංකන් ගුවන් සමාගමේ සේවකයින් 7000ක පමණ පිරිසක් සේවය කරනු ලබයි.
දැනට මාස තුනක පමණ කාලයක සිට ඇති වී තිබෙන කොරෝනා වසංගත තත්වය හේතුවෙන් ආයතනය විශාල ලෙස පාඩු ලබා තිබේ.
මේ නිසා වියදම් අඩු කිරීමේ අරමුණින් සේවක පිරිස අඩු කිරීම සඳහා සඳහා ආයතනය තීන්දු කර ඇත.
ඒ අනුව එහි සේවකයන්ට වන්දි ලබාගෙන කැමැත්තෙන් විශ්රාම ගැනීමේ අවස්ථාව ලබාදීමට පාලනාධිකාරිය විසින් කටයුතු කර තිබේ.

Some Government School Teachers have already started tution at their homes and home visits for tutions. The professional tution centers still shut down and this is highly unfair because government teachers already gets a salary and tution for them is a bonus while professional tution people are without any income for three months now. Government and health authorities should look in to this double standard.
Also it is unfair for the student who attends professional tution centers because while they are deprived of education people who obtain individual tution from these government teachers continue their education.
